-Gridania-
The sound of birds were singing as a chocobo drawn carriage headed for the main gate of New Gridania. Humming, a brunette Miqo'te looked around and gasped, seeing a couple of moogles fly by. She looked awed as a Viera also saw the moogles but closed her eyes, listening to the rustles of the leaves and the three toed feet of the chocobo walk to the main entrance. The carriage was quiet as the Miqo'te wasn't sure how to talk with the stoic looking Viera. Soon they arrived at the gate and the two females got off the carriage.
The Miqo'te waved as the carriage and left while the Viera turned and entered the city-state. The Miqo'te jumped and followed the Viera. "So, uh, looks like we came to the same city." She said, sounding nervous. The Viera said, "Yes, it seems so." The Miqo'te pouted, lowering her ears. "So, what did you come here for?" "To being a archer." The Viera said, simply. The Miqo'te said, "Oh, well, came to be a conjurer myself." "Hmm, name's Sy'pha." The Viera properly introduced herself. Perking her ears, the Miqo'te said, "I'm Eli. Maybe we'll be a team together."
"Maybe." Sy'pha said as they entered the Carline Canopy and resigstered as adventurers.
-Ul'dah-
Relaxing in the shade of the carriage as it headed for the walled city of Ul'dah, a young dark skinned Au Ra breathed and leaned back. She turned and saw a few moogles flying by. Turking some hair, she breathed and looked to see the wall of Ul'dah and smiled, eager to see what it was like behind the wall. As the carriage approached, the Au Ra stretched and got up when it stopped, hopping off the carriage.
She bowed at the carriage driver and turned, entering the Steps of Nald. The Au Ra looked around the people walking around and headed for the Quicksand, resigstered as a adventurer named Yuri Menkin.

~Limsa Lominsa~
A brown haired male Hyur felt himself being whisked away by a current and opened his eyes as he found himself in a what was the nigh with a sun like sphere as he walked towards it, with words echoed for him to hear, feel and think as a short distance away a dark void was forming and out from it emerged a cloaked figure in a red mask, reaching out for him as the male was unarmed, the light form before moving, imploring him to hear feel and think as the garments changed to one befitting of a rather defensive person who could take blows and dish them out as a weapon of light, a big two handed axe formed in his handed as he prepared to strike back at the figure before light encompassed everything.
The male awoken to the sound of a man saying he was moaning and sweating buckets of sweat and asked if the rolling of the ship got his stomach churning. "Oh that's right... I am on a ship." The male thought, bringing his attention back to where he was, he must of been dreaming, the man said it didn't look like seasickness, probably the aether then as some are more sensitive to it more than others before the ship rocked, the man deciding to blame it on seasickness with the way the ship rolled like a demented Chocobo.
The man suggested going up on deck to get some fresh as their arrival to Limsa Lominsa was still a ways off as the male looked over to see two white haired Elezens that could be mistaken for twins if not the fact one wore blue attire and had a ponytail braided in a bleu bow while the other had a red one and wore beige colours, and the lips being more.. feminine like one could say? The grizzly man said they weren't much for conversation as they were asleep.
The man introduced himself as Brennan and he was a peddler. "Masaru, a pleasure." The male Hyur said, introducing himself before the pair headed out onto the deck since they were sat in the lodging area, the sea salt air hitting them like well, a wave of bricks as deck hands ran about to their duties, the fog covering any sights but the warmth of the temperature was a welcome change, Brennan judged by Masaru's garments, he was a new adventurer.
"Nothing escapes you does it?" Masaru asked as Brannan laughed, saying it was the call of going wherever the wind blows, seeking fortune and glory, that was a living as long as he can avoid dying as adventuring was risky business and asked what drawn him to it. "Hmm. I suppose just to see what's out there, I'm not looking for power, fame or fortune." Masaru said, cupping his chin in thought, he set off from home in pursuit of seeing more of the world and adventuring sounded like the best way to do it, not being tied down to anything.
Brennan said as long as he knew when push came to shove, he'll likely join a guild that'll craft or gathering which Masaru admitted, he'd need a lot if he was going to survive in the wild but he was prepared for that. Limsa was known for the smithies, armories and fishers as well as wonderful cooks as Brennan said a peaceful pastime will also help out there as there was no profit in being dead.
"Isn't that the truth? Hm?" Masaru noted something off the side as water splashed up, a cannon or something was fired at the ship and not just one either as the deck hands as ships were off the starboard bow, flying pirate colors as a deckhand told them to get below deck which they did as Brennan said the pirates either have a boatload of balls of bugger all for brains, a deckhand came in after a certain amount of time, saying they escaped and they were safe to come up above deck as Brennan asked if was his first time to Limsa Lominsa.
"Yes it is." Masaru nodded as Brennan explained Limsa was a front of naval power and it was ruled by pirates if not for the Admiral civilizing influence and that he'd never guess she was quite a well known buccaneer and there were Sahagin raiding the coast or if you wanna give a proper term, called fishbacks, a beast tribe as it were. Land ho was heard as Brennan pointed out the dock which he said was nation beloved by the ocean's bounty and the navigation of Llymlaen, goddess of navigation.
Masaru turned his head at that, the dock was well, a normal shipping area but building were interwoven into the cliffsides and a big tower standing proud in the middle of it all, the name of said Goddess as the boat pulled into dock as Brennan bid his goodbyes, giving him something and telling him to make a name so he brag about it and departed as Masaru walked on the stone marble paved pavement, leading into Limsa, hands on his hips, taking in that fresh sea slated air.
"Okay... first... I need to show my papers before I'm allowed entry." Masaru said approaching the way into the town, showing his papers as he folded them back up in his satchel as he walked, hearing the hustle of bustle, peddlers selling their wares and saw many various races and do many different floors to Limsa Lominsa as well a giant Aetheryre crystal, he had to take a moment to soak it in before recollecting himself, he needed to decide what to do next before being called over by a guard, making it his business to know all the scum that wash ashore and suggested he get himself to the Drowned Wench and apply to the Adventurer's Guild by operating a lift further down which Masaru followed the direction.
Coming to what was a lively bar like area, Masaru approached the proprietor who had certainly a discerning eye and explained about Lisa and the Calamity among other things as Masaru signed out the paperwork. a group of Yellowjacket approached, well for their distinctive yellow jackets asking for information regarding the pirate attack. implying he sent the signal of the attack by the owner made up some story about being a distant relative to get them off his back and said they can't be too trusting of outsiders and recent kidnappings, apparently they were all on edge and such, looking to clap irons on anyone suspicious.
"And now I'm starting to wish I picked Ul'dah or Gridania..." Masaru groaned in his thoughts and spoke. "So any suggestions on what I should do next now I'm registered?" Masaru asked and the owner certainly gave him some suggestions, explore the town and such, make a name for himself, it'd also help keep said yellowjackets off his back. "Well, better get down to it, the sooner I can make some connections, the better I'll be able to sleep in this rough town." Masaru thought with a grimace and breathed, it was time to go around and get a feel for the place, but he knew he wouldn't be calling this place home anytime soon. "Who did Brennan say was a Goddess here? Llymlaen? Oh goddess Llymlaen, grant me strength to get through this place." Masaru thought to himself before heading on his way.

-Gridania-
Talking with the owner of the Canopy, Mother Miounne, who encouraged the two to explore the city, Eli stretched and breathed, looking at the dark skinned Viera. She said, "Guess this is where we part for now." "For now." Sy'pha said, smiling as she looked at the Miqo'te. "Do you know where to go?" "Yeah, I need to Old Gridania and head for Nophica's Altar, that will lead to Stillglade Fane, where I can find the Conjurer's Guild." She said. "You?" "I just need to turn at Aetheryte Plaza and turn right to the Quiver's Hold." Sy'pha said.
"Okay, see ya." Eli said, waving as the two split and went their own ways. Heading for the old section of Gridania. Eli looked at the hallowed out entrance and walked down the path, she reached a door and breathed, reaching out her hand and opening it slightly. She looked and saw the small guild with its guildmaster and his assistant. Hearing the receptionist ask if she wanted to join, Eli nodded. He told her that he would introduce her to the guildmaster, E-Sumi-Yan, and go to meet him a bit further in.
Going to meet the white haired leader, he looked at her and told her about how conjury was about healing wounds and protecting others and considering how adventurers face battles at the frontline, healing was often needed. But conjurers could fight by using earth, wind, and water spells. Eli nodded, agreeing to do her best as a conjurer.
-
Approaching the guild for archers, Sy'pha spoke to the receptionist and listened to the art of archery was mix of styles from Elezens and Miqo'te. So with a resolve, she approached the guildmaster and listened to how the bow had a advantage by attacking from a far unlike some of the other disciplines. So Sy'pha agreed to work hard as a archer.
-Ul'dah-
"Okay, if the directions from Momodi is correct, I need to head down to the Steps of Thal and the Gladiator's Guild will be the first thing I see." Yuri noted to herself. She headed down, looking at the bustling street of the wall covered city. She reached the coliseum, seeing announcers of different races advertise the coliseum and went through the archway. She looked and saw the guild, she happily spoke with the receptionist and looked to talk with the guildmaster who was eager to hear if she wanted to live by the sword and shield.
"Yes, I wish to use my sword and shield to protect others." Yuri told her, delighting her.

~Limsa Lominsa~
Masaru had to pick up peculiar herbs to drop off, attune tot eh huge crystal or Aetheryre as it was called, learning about the markets as well as dropping off some tools and then there was of course, locating the Marauder's Guild in the Upper Decks as if he choose to register, he'd be given a weapon for all novices, meeting the guild master as it was meant to become one wasn't to outlast the enemies but to overwhelm them to cleave and destroy, bloody carnage as it was said and Masaru paused for a moment, while raw power was good and all... It just didn't feel right for him since the guild master said the blood spilled on the battlefield will often be his own, Masaru politely thanked him for his time but figured this was not the Guild for him.
Masaru looked into the other Guilds, there was an Arcanists who were people who used the arcane and summon a familiar, but he found himself leaning toward the Rogues that would fit his slender but somewhat muscularly physique better than wielding a two handed axe and wearing heavy armor or cast spells, he signed up, acquiring dual daggers, sure it was stealth and assassins like methods but it fit his build more than anything and hsi quarry being Lost Lambs, Ladybugs and Wharf Rats but of course it didn't mean he had to immediately go and kill them, he returned to the Drowning Wrench and the town to attune to the smaller aetheryes so eh can utilize them efficiently, stepping onto the outskirt, Masaru looked for his quarry, despite the names of some, they were quite reasonably sized creatures he slicing his daggers to deal damage and killing the creatures wasn't difficult, his reflexes serving him well, considering a Wharf Rat was nimble, the Lost lamb certainly did it best to retaliate with head butts but the fact slaying such creatures was a bit disconcerting but washed away, it was survival when you get down to it and Masaru couldn't afford to be picky, after all, a Lost lamb may be dinner on the road.
Taking a moment to experimentally swing the daggers as the blood came off, the weight of it becoming known to him as he returned to Limsa to report on his kills, he had to learn well to fully utilize them as efficiently as possible after all.

-Gridania-
Returning from the Central Shroud, Eli smiled as she went to the Conjurer Guild, telling E-Sumi that she managed to kill three Little Ladybugs, Ground Squrriels, and Forest Funguar. E-Sumi was happy and told her and explained how conjurers use the power of nature to bring change and asked that she continued to harness that power to become a powerful conjurer.
-
Taking a breath as she put her bow away, Sy'pha walked back to the Archer's Guild and reported that she had killed the three sets of creatures needed to prove her worth as a member of the guild. Impressed, the guildmaster officially made her part of the guild and requested that she keep practicing so the load and release of the bow would become second nature to her.
-Ul'dah-
Wiping her brow, Yuri returned to Ul'dah and used the aethernet crystal to teleport to the Gladiator Guild, having killed three Little Ladybugs, Star Marmot, and Catuars. Upon her return, Mylla told the dark skinned Au Ra to master the sword, she would need to reflect and remember her experiences in her battles. Yuri nodded, knowing as a gladiator, she would need to be strong and protect the others in her group.

Masaru went about his quests, getting more adept in his blade work among other things such as taking up some smithery and armory to learned how to maintain his gear, well the jobs were small and such, it did not bother him, now he had to go to a place called Seasong Grotto to investigate tattoo individuals interrupting daily farm work on Limsa Lominsa's outskirts, if rumors were to be believed they occupied that place.
Sadly no luck but there were Bogy's, flying yellow like... bat creatures which eh slain to clear out as he investigated the stone monument in the center, words etched upon it before hearing footsteps, he turned around to see an individual but not a tattooed one who'd probably fit the description of the bandits or kidnappers in this case, it was Miqo'te with light brown skinned, or perhaps something more to a darker skin tone than his own, and having darker brown facial markings though the lighting of the cave may mistaken the color, her eyes were a light teal and her hair platinum blonde with two frontal pigtails with rings while garbed in a white attire with silver patterns and a unknown mark on the left arm, blue trousers and black ankle books and some kind of... device on her neck, she even had glimpse of an tattoo on her neck and a wand that resembled a tree branch.
Now Masaru wasn't sure if this was his quarry but it seemed unlikely this woman would be the one kidnapping denizens, her tail was also platinum blonde too, she didn't have her... tree branch out so she wasn't armed but that may change but he knew he needed to be cautious.

"'I am the waves that bear. I am the winds that guide.'" The white haired Miqo'te recited. "'I am the evening stars. I am the morning sky. I am born of the sea. And there shall I die.' Thus reads the Sailors' Requiem carved into yonder stone." She approached Masaru and crossed her arms, saying, "Such words well describe the manner in which the citizens of Limsa Lominsa live their lives. It is both a litany against misfortune for those out on the waves and a prayer for those who perish on live might find their way back to the sea."
Examining him, the Miqo'te smiled, "Ah, you are the adventurer I've seen around Summerford Farms. I thought myself on the trail of the kidnappers but it would seem I have missed my mark." Suddenly a giant gooblue appeared, roaring, making the Miqo'te smiled, "Or perhaps not." As it ran to them, Miqo'te noted something, "As I suspsected, the aetheric disturbance here is no natural occurance. Nor is it a coicidence that the two of you should come here in search of those responsible for the disappearances only to be attacked."
As it roared at them, the Miqo'te looked at Masaru and said, "But who stands to benefit from the keeping of this secret? Such thoughts must wait. Let us attend to the task at hand, unpleasant though it be." She brought her tree branch wand to fight the monster with him.
-Gridania-
As it turned, Eli and Sy'pha did often team up, Eli practicing her healing on Sy'pha as the Viera would practice her archery on enemies they would encounter as they would often head out into the Central Shroud and talked to the people who were stationed in the Bannock. They learned from the leader that there was strange activity going in the Twelveswood and there was a suspicious individal seen wandering the wood with being a spike of Ixali activity which might be connected to the strange individual.
But as their target was elusive, he asked the two to start looking at Lifemend Stump, where the majority of the sightings took place, so the two headed for the stump. Admiring the waterfall as they approached, Eli gasped, "Look!"
There was a sword in the stump with a dead bird-like creature. The two examined the odd sight when they heard something, "Look! Someone's already here!" Eli looked with her ears perked up, while Sy'pha turned, there was a odd pair approaching, a Hyur girl who wore a white turban and a mask that covered her eyes, a white jacket with a dark red sash undershirt, brown fingerless gloves and red armored greaves. With her was a stern looking Lalafell with blond hair and blue eyes, a monocole over the right eye and wearing a dark robe with white trimming, yellow gloves, black boots.
They both had the same tattoo on their necks and odd device, but while the Lalafell wore his around his neck, the Hyur had hers on her turban. Seeing the sword, the Hyur said, "Oh dear. Is that a sword in the stump? Bad idea. Really bad idea...." As she continued, the Moogle flew up and the Lalafell asked it if they were their stranger. Eli kept quiet, not sure what to say. But the Moogle said they weren't, the Hyur looked at the moogle and asked, "You know them?"
The moogle said they didn't exactly know them, but they did share a carriage. The Lalafell used his device and sighed, saying there was a disturtance and looked at the two, noting the Moogle was convinced of their innocence, so who were they looking for. The Hyur explained, "Ever since the Calamity, the forest's been really sensitve. The slightest disruption to the aetheric flow." Suddenly there was shaking as a number of demonic looking moving trees appeared. Eli gasped as she and Sy'pha went to help.
-Ul'dah-
Doing her duties in Ul'dah, Yuri found herself in the employ of Papashan who asked her to look for a young noblewoman named Lilira who had run away from home and to look for her at the Sultantree. Heading for the tree, she found a Lalafell praying at the tree. She wore a pink turban and a pink coat. Lilira prayed for her weakness and then was alerted to a presnce. Yuri was surprised to see a young man who had ash blond hair and brown eyes, wearing a black tunic and white shirt, a white belt, fingerless gloves and greenish pants. The man sighed and said he was concerned for her welfare, Lilira pouted, "I don't recall requesting a escort! Simply pretend we never met and continue on your way!"
But he was worried about her being out alone with the disturbance he felt, looking at Yuri. He was happy to see she had found the young lady and asked that she come to the station with them. But suddenly a bat-like creature appeared and roared. Yuri pulled out her sword and shield as she readied herself to fight with him against the monster.

-Limsa Lominsa-
Masaru looked at the giant gooblue, towering at maybe... who knows, 13 or 14 foot tall? with lanky arms and two, no three sets of teeth, t was obviously far removed from anywhere near Limsa Lominsa, that was for certain as he pulled his daggers out, since the Miqo'te was a magic user, he'd probably bets keep the jolly giant as it were in his sights and not have him attack the mage, running forth, slashing a side the rock-like skin certainly matching its appearance but it got it's attention of who was a threat.
Masaru had the monster focused solely on him, using hsi reflexes to dodge or counter the arms with his blades, likely frustrating the creature to no end, it wasn't goign down easy that was for certain but it did match its size, until the little critters of Bogy's started to come in, so he now had to contend with keeping the yellow bat-liek creatures down while not getting flattened by the gooblue, his reflexes coming into play more, the Miqo'te tending any wounds he may have,, until two more gooblues came forth though they were clearly weaker than the one they were fighting, perhaps they didn't have much time to grow before eventually, the monsters were taken down.
As the Miqo'te went to inspect the corpse of the gooblue, Masaru spotted something shining nearby and walked over, it was a bleu crystal that started to levitate and he took a hold of it, hearing familiar words as he his mind was in a dark place before abeam of light shot up unto the heavens and rained meteors down and a voice calling him crystal bearer as he found himself in a blue and black void and in the distance, a large crystal who called itself Hyadaleyn speaking about alight that once shone now grows dim and darkness rising up, asking him to save them from this fate and journey forth to find crystals of light.
"Oh boy... what have I gotten myself into?" Masaru thought before being brought back to reality, he was lying down on the ground, he must of been unconscious for only but maybe a few moments as the Miqo'te was still inspecting the monster in question.

-Limsa Lominsa-
"Awake again, are we?" The Miqo'te said, examining the monster. "Aha. The poor creature's fury was kindled with cruel forethought." As Masaru joined her, she showed him a blade that she had found. "See this blade? I found it in the goobbue's back. I have seen knives of this kind before - they are most commonly used for the cutting of rope. It would appear our culprits are seafearing men of some persuasion... piratical being the most probable. In any event, you seem much recovered from your sudden.... affliction. I confess, I was rather aback when you collasped at the very moment of our victory. Mayhap a surfeit of aether?"
When he explained what happened, she was surprised, "I beg your pardon? A 'towering crystal'? I'm sure I don't--- Oh." A smile appeared on her face as she said, "Well, well.. This has been a day of unexpected revelations. I must continue my investigation. In the meantime, I suggest you deliver this knife to your patron, along with a warning concerning the pirates porable involvement in this murky business. The days ahead promise little rest, I fear...." She handed him the knife and turned, leaving, as she told him, "May our paths cross again under the light of the Crystal."
-Gridania-
Eli focused on healing Sy'pha, the Hyur, and the Lalafell. The Lalafell was a expectionally skilled thaumaturge as he used various black magic while his Hyur companion was a strong and powerful pugilist, using a pair of darksteel knuckles to fight. Sy'pha just focused and fired arrows at the living trees that were suddenly attacking. As they summmoned little buds, Sy'pha switched targets and fired on them while the other two fought the trees. Before long, the trees was defeated.
The two gasped for air and Eli wondered, "What was that about?" Sy'pha breathed and closed her eyes, thinking she sensed something. Eli touched her head, feelnig something as well. Opening her eyes, Sy'pha saw the moogle floating in front of her and floated from her, the Lalafell asked if they were alright, stating a surfeit of aether might have made them feel woozy. The Hyur looked at the corpse, as the Lalafell noted it was a chieftain Ixal. Eli asked, "What would a chieftain Ixal being doing here?" The Lalafell thought the beastman must be acting under orders, getting a call from his linkpearl.
The Hyur walked to the two and smiled, "How are we feeling, then? Better? Good." Eli and Sy'pha looked at each other and not sure if they were feeling fully okay. The Lalafell decided they needed to leave and headed out with the Hyur, but she told them, "I think that sword might be a clue!! You should definitely pull it out and take it back to the Bannock!"
-Ul'dah-
Fighting the bat-like creature, Yuri groaned as smaller ones appeared. She protected the young man who used daggers, having the creatures attack her shield and she slashed back at the monsters, using all her strength to swing back. When they saw the monster fall to the ground, the young man breathed and went to the tree. While he checked the tree, most likely looking the young pink haired Lilira, Yuri suddenly fell to a knee and breathed, not sure why she was suddenly feeling tired.
'What is this?' She thought, getting up. The man smiled, asking if she was coming around, standing with Lilra who asked, "Would you mind telling me what that was?" He wasn't sure, saying it was likely just a denizen of the void. Lilira was concerned of a voidsent being here, the man noted who could have summoned it, as Yuri got up. He joked that the answer probably come to her in a dream. Yuri looked at him as he said she fell as soon as the beast fell, too much aether he realized.
"I suppose." Yuri said, looking at him. He smiled, saying this changes things but they needed to report things. He left her with Lilira and Lilira pouted, "How dare you pass me about like a swaddled babe! I shall return and tell them myself!" So she angrily walked off and looked at Yuri, guessing they would meet again. He walked onto his own path and Yuri looked, wondering what happened.

~Limsa Lominisa~
Masaru rubbed a hand behind his head as the Miqo'te left and breathed, rubbing the bridge of his nose and eyes closed. "What's me collapsing suddenly... I must be more worn out than I thought... This Adventuring stuff isn't for the faint of heart... And Considering how many Gooblues I had to fight off, it's no wonder, adrenaline rush." Masaru thought before breathing before making his back to share the news of the knife's origins and it seemed like the Miqo'te was known to the men of Limsa Lominsa known as Y'shtola.
"Huh so that's her name." Masaru thought, remembering introductions were forgotten in the heat of the battle and her studies of aether which were usually done in Summerford but the job giver assured him she wasn't the kind to associate with kidnapping and Masaru just nodded, taking more jobs such as taking down a Golem and meeting Y'shtola once again, glad the enemy did not have a chance to sink their fangs deeper into him as Masaru got a vison of Y'shtola eavesdropping on the pirates noting they weren't part any factions, mayhap aligned with the beast tribes and the rather convenient timing being all too neatly with recent events, perhaps to summon forth their primals, he did note the red lesser moon in the sky, this was likely before the Calamity happened so was this Y'shtola's past?
When he came back to the present Y'shtola was speaking to someone in her ear, a linkpearl if he recalled being the word and said something about someone eluding her and what been going on to some degree before Introductions were exchanged but they'd likely meet again when Y'shtola's thoughts were more put together.
With some more time and days, he come across a masked mage draped in black and a black mask, responsible for the golem and the darkness he unleashed, summoning a creature probably from hell itself as Masaru had to fight for his life, Y'shtola did arrive to aid him, when the Masked Mage was defeated, Y'shtola said they were called Ascians, bringers of chaos as it were and they who been manipulating beast tribes, Masaru decided to ask about Sharlayan as she was from there, surprising her as she never said nothing about her homeland to him before correcting herself, noting he seemed to be blessed with a special gift before they parted.
Masaru then went to meet the Admiral of Limsa Lominsa, Merlwyb who heard so much about his contributions and invited to a banquet as the man who foiled the plans of the Sahagins. after calming his nerves, the banquet was held in honor for him, he met quite a few familiar faces, Y'shtola noting he had an extraordinary glow and Masaru pulled out the crystal which she said in shock was a Crystal of light and asked if he saw a vison back at the Gooblue of a towering crystal, apparently he was a vessel of a higher power, this being he saw in his vison was the Mothercrystal and if he was chosen by her, then his deeds will shape fates of nations as did once the Warriors of Light who were lost at the Battle of Carteanau, no bodies were found however, the Mothercrystal was apparently called Hyadaleyn.
Masaru did saw a vision of said battle and the Admiral among others partaking in said battle, he awakened to find himself in bed, apparently he collapsed again as he met the Admiral again who penned a letter to each of her counterparts in the Eorzean Alliance for a memorial service to be held on the fifth anniversary of said battle and he would deliver them as her personal envoy as he was given an airship pass to make the trips to Gridania and Ul'Dah much easier as he went to the Drowning Wench for infomation abotu the two other nations before chartering a course to Gridania.
~Gridania~
landing in the docks, Masaru stepped off, from he saw overboard on the way, it was forest for miles and well, a community living within it, this place certainly seemed peaceful and the trees affording much shade and no sea-salt air he gotten so used to, he stepped off and looked. "Now... where do I do from here?" Masaru muttered, walking to the Airship ticketer who pointed him that a guard was awaiting for the envoy and he approached said guard say to head into the city proper and locate the Conjurer's Guild at Nophica's Altar where the the head conjurer will admit him to the Lotus Stand were the Elder Seedseer awaited.
Masaru ascended the stairs and came out to a what was a bar similar to the Drowned Wench and stepped outside, seeing a pathway and headed left, seeing the giant Aether crystal. "Must be the main hub.. now.. I should attune to it first and then.. well.. try and find this Guild." Masaru thought.

-Gridania-
At the Lotus Stand, Kan-E-Senna was talking with Eli and Sy'pha who had done enough to be seen as important figures to her. Kan-E-Senna was a young woman who wore a long white dress with a fur collar, leather straps on her wrists and fingers, and white wool boots. In her hand was a staff that was made of a blue crystal, her blond hair was tied up and bundled into a bun above her shoulders and she had kind green eyes. Her most striking feature was a pair of thin horns that were partially hidden by a leaf shaped circlet she wore.
She smiled as she saw Masaru appear and spoke, "So you are the Limsa Lominsan envoy. On behalf of our fair nation, I bid you welcome. Please." Eli and Sy'pha looked as he came closer and she said, "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Kan-E-Senna, Elder Seedseer of Gridania, and leader of the Order of the Twin Adder, our nation's Grand Company. I understand you bear a message from the Chief Admiral." Being given the letter from Merlwyb, she read it with a determined focus and taking in every word.
"A remembrance service for the fallen of Carteneau....." She noted, Eli and Sy'pha looked at the Elder Seedseer. Kan-E looked at Masaru and asked, "Pray tell me, adventurer - what do you know of conflict with the Empire?" He told her he knew a bit of it, Kan-E nodded, "It would seem my counterpart recounted the tale in some detail. That is well." So after hearing Merlwyb thought of a wolf hidden among her people, Kan-E offered her aid and told him the history of Garlemald. At first, it wasn't most influential nation in its region of Ilsabard.
But its innovations in magitek fifty years ago had helped it raise from the depths, and now emboldened by this new technology, it began to subjugate the other nations in the region. And once it had taken over all Ilsabard, it turned its gaze to Eorzea. However, its transformation wasn't just because of its recent technological advancement but also due to its first emperor, who was reigning. Solus zos Galvus, the man who made the empire and built it from the ground up in his lifetime. However, since he was living for so long, he had gotten frail and and was more prone to contracting illness. And there were rumors of succession being destablized in the Empire's imperial count. Which would explain why it was so quiet with the Empire and allowed the other regions to recover.
However, they couldn't rest as Garlemald still had a presence in Eorzea by way of the XIVth Imperial Legion. And commanding it was Legatus Gaius van Baelsar, a man whose ambition was known to the realm of Eorzea. So as long as he lived, none of the realm could sleep easy. And the Calamity had caused such devastation on the realm, each city could only be able to heal their own wound before they could think about rebuilding their defenses. So to put it simply, they didn't have the strength to fight back against the Empire. And as well, much like in Limsa, the other beast tribes were practicing summoning primals and each nation had to deal with their own primal problem. The admiral seemed to be asking for Kan-E's counsel on a brazen wolf, looking down.
To Kan-E, she believed that meant the Empire could begin its advance again. So though the primals were a big threat, the Empire possibly beginning to advance again was a bigger one and each nation couldn't afford to stay with their borders anymore. With that, Kan-E believed that a remembrance service could be what the nations needed to rekindle and unite against the Empire. And she would begin to prepare a service in Gridania, going to a table and writing her response. Turning to Masaru, Kan-E said his work was done and also asked him to take Eli and Sy'pha, having them appointed them as her envoies and see the Flame General.
Leaving the area, Eli looked at Masaru and said, "Nice to meet you. Name's Eli." "Sy'pha." Sy'pha introduced, looking down at him due to her greater height as a Viera. Eli suggested, "There is some time before we head to Ul'dah. So take some time to look around."

~Gridania~
Masaru rubbed a hand behind his head, rubbing his hair as the two females joined as representatives of Gridania as Eli suggested he take a look around. "A good suggestion as any, I do need to attune to the Aetherytes and well, see the sights since this letter isn't urgent to go immediately back to the Airship Landing." Masaru said and looked thoughtful, while it'll probably be hard to get lost with such wide open spaces unlike Limsa Lominsa with different levels, perhaps a tour was prudent while taking a moment to observe the two females, a Miqo'te was nothing new due to seeing Y'shtola but her hair was quite different being a brunette with white highlights and freckles but also a small scar on her left cheek with a bandage, she also wielded a staff on her back while but the one name Sy'pha was certainly tall, perhaps up to Roegayden standards perhaps? Her dark skin and dark hair with green highlights and different colored eyes and white freckles on ehr face, that was peculiar the freckles woudl be white, but he was no expert in the biology of the body, a quiver and bow on her back... Obviously these two represented a Conjurer and an Archer.
Thing back to Kan-E-Senna, she did have that air of mature calmness, it wouldn't surprise him if she was probably the most powerful Conjurer if he had to fathom a guess before speaking up. "Oh, by the way, Masaru Hikari is my name, if it isn't too much trouble, I imagine you two ladies know your way around Gridania, perhaps you could offer yourselves as guides, after all... I have been encouraged to see more of what lies beyond Limsa Lominsa." Masaru suggested.

-Gridania-
Eli perked her ears up in excitement, "Of course! Well, as you can see here, we're at Nophica's Altar, the entrance to the Conjurer's Guild." "If we head north on this path, we will past the gate that leads into the North Shroud and end up at a three way path." Sy'pha explained. "There's a Aethernet Shard within the altar and within the Botanist's Guild." Eli nodded as they began to walk down the path and she explained, "To the left is the Botantist's Guild, going straight down and turning right takes you to the Lancer's Guild and across the way from it is a aethernet shard there."
"Turning right here will take you to Mih Khetto's Amphitheater and further down is the Leatherworker Guild and past that is the market stalls." Sy'pha said. "You'll find aethernet shards on the way." "I'm sure you saw when you came in, but we have a big hub crystal in New Gridania." Eli said. "There is also the Carpenter's Guild and the Archer's Guild."
The two girls walked with him around the area, showing the areas they described. Eli waved as they past the Botanist's Guild and saw the guildmaster. Sy'pha looked thoughtful, knowing the Botanists gather materials that can be used for other guilds. Eli smiled, looking at the dark skinned bi-colored Viera. "So do you like the location so far?" Eli asked, looking at Masaru.

~Gridania~
"Well, ti's certainly loks more welcoming and such without having to need to watch for someone who may not like you for the way you walk or arouse suspicions and well, be seafaring with a feeling of ownership, it's more of a you have to make yourself useful and such to stand out in Limsa Lominsa, especially if you want more work, I don't hate it there but I feel like it's not the place for me as I only went there because it was an immediate arrival than going by Chocobo." Masaru said, arms crossed.
"Not that I hate Limsa Lominsa of course, it's just those whoa re there are a bit more cuttthroat and always keep one eye over your shoulder at all times." Masaru said and thought to himself. "Didn't help some people thought I was the cause of an attack on the ship that ferried me there, granted they were on edge with kidnappings but wasn't exactly most hospitable welcome." Masaru thought to himself, sure the Admiral influenced things in a more... civilized way that was piracy but it was more of with us or against us kind of mindset.
"here on the other hand, it quite shaded and hearing the sounds of nature if it permits, everyone seems to mind their business, though I imagine in a different season, it's quite a change, if I didn't go to Limsa Lominsa, I dare say this would of been my next choice of adventure, plus, it doesn't give off that feel of the hustle and bustle." Masaru noted and looked thoughtful.
"I'm quite verse din dual wielding as a Rogue but it may be beneficial or have something to hit from a certain range since well, who knows what an adventuring party may need." Masaru thought, perhaps eh should take up the Way of the Lancer, especially if the Admiral believed him to like the old Warriors of Light, it would be prudent to cover bases.
"Mayhap after this envoy role is finished, I'll decide what to do next." Masaru thought, he'd need to see what Ul'Dah had to show, after all, an adventurer never stays in one place for too long, and while Limsa Lominsa was a sight to see, he did want to have a change of pace, beesides, after he'd master all the Rogue's guild had to offer, he should branch out.

"There's something about Gridania...." Sy'pha said. "Well, we should head to the Airship Landing and head to Ul'dah to the Flame General." "Right." Eli said, nodding and looking determined. They headed to the Airship Landing and boarded the airship. Eli looked as they flew from the landing and she saw the view of Gridania, amazed at the sight. Sy'pha crossed her arms, looking at the forest and the settlement they had been in for the past few days.
-Ul'dah-
Arriving at Ul'dah, Eli looked at the circular walled city and was amazed. Sy'pha thought, saying, "Ul'dah....." "It's amazing." Eli said. As soon as they landed, Sy'pha approached a guard who led them inside the palace and into one of the rooms where they met the dark skinned Flame General and Yuri. Eli noticed the scars on his face while Sy'pha examined the white scaled person with him. She had light pink slightly curled hair with white highlights, most like her, she had two colored eyes and had light colored scales along with the unique horns on her cheeks.
She noted that she had a sword and shield, making her a member of the Gladiator guild if her memory was correct. Reading, the Flame General, Rauabhn agreed to hold a memorial for the fallen in Ul'dah, stating he would speak with the sultana on the matter. Writing his response, he told them that their job as envoy was done but they were welcome to explore Ul'dah and her riches, asking that Yuri come along, feeling bad that he had made her enovy for Ul'dah but now she no longer had a need for it.
Yuri shook her head and walked out with them. "It's a honor to meet you." Yuri said, bowing. "I am Yuri." "Eli, nice to meet you." Eli introduced. Sy'pha nodded, "Sy'pha." "Well, if it don't too much trouble, I would like to join you all." Yuri asked, looking at them and trying to courteous.
